Start a fresh this January!

It’s January, the time when the festivities are over and everyone seems to be setting new goals. Here at SWEAT! we want to start the new year calmly and with clear heads so that any goals that we do set are well thought out ones.

Why not start the year by trying some of our many Holistic classes that are available. From yoga to pilates to body balance (*not available in all clubs) there’s a class that will suit you and your needs this January.

 

So what exactly do we mean by ‘Holistic’ classes? The term holistic refers to the treatment of the ‘whole’ rather than parts. So in exercise, it is looking at not just the physical benefits of that exercise, but also the mental benefits as well. In all of the classes listed above, you will find these type of benefits. Exercising for your mental well being as well as your physical should allow you to start the new year in a positive and calm way.

Les Mills BODYBALANCE

Ideal for anyone and everyone, BODYBALANCEis the yoga-based class that will improve your mind, your body and your life.

During BODYBALANCE an inspired soundtrack plays as you bend and stretch through a series of simple yoga moves and embrace elements of Tai Chi and Pilates. Breathing control is a part of all the exercises, and instructors will always provide options for those just getting started. You’ll strengthen your entire body and leave the class feeling calm and centered. Happy.

Yoga & Meditation

Stretch your body, calm your breath, expand your mind. Yoga is a word that means union. Feel more flexible, stronger and calm by connecting to your breath whilst you move your body in flowing sequences. This class is a moving meditation that culminates in stillness and is open to all levels.

Pilates

A class which focuses on lengthening and building strength all over to improve muscle balance, flexibility and posture - Pilates is a fitness class for Members who want to tone the whole body whilst reducing stress levels.
